Outsourcing-Pharma.com presents its latest round-up of the movers and shakers in the world of pharmaceuticals, including news from Parexel, AmerisourceBergen and Norwich Pharmaceuticals.

Parexel​ has announced the selection of Xavier Flinois​ as President of its technology division, Perceptive Informatics.

Coming from being CEO of Clinical Solutions, Flinois has had more than 20 years experience in the technology and healthcare IT sector. He replaces Steve Kent​ who has left the company for personal reasons.

Parexel President and COO Mark A. Goldberg said: "We welcome Xavier to the PAREXEL team, and look forward to drawing upon his extensive industry experience to bring Perceptive Informatics' track record of innovation to new heights and to enhance its suite of hosted software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications for our clients."

Douglas R. Conant​ has been elected onto the board at AmerisourceBergen​, pushing the number of directors up from nine to ten.

Mr Conant joins the US Pharmaceuticals service company following ten years as President and CEO at Campbell Soup Company.

Richard C. Gozon, Chairman of the Board of AmerisourceBergen praised Contant’s track record at Campbell’s adding that he will be an excellent addition to the board.

Norwich Pharmaceuticals​ has announced Dr. Kristin Arnold​ as Vice President of its Product, Development and Technical Services (PDTS).

Company CEO, Doug Drysdale said he was looking “forward to her contributions to the PDTS group and the organization,” ​adding that “she will be a strong addition to our leadership team."

Arnold comes to Norwich direct from being Sr. Vice President Producting Development at URL Pharma and will report directly to the CEO.

Danish CRO Bavarian Nordic​ is searching for a new Executive Vice-President and Division President Cancer Vaccines after announcing that Reiner Laus​ has left the position.

Chairman of the Board, President and CEO, Asger Aamund said: “During his tenure, Dr. Laus has been instrumental in the development of the company's clinical pipeline.”

John Sines​ has been named Chief Financial Officer at the health information provider company LifeNexus​, developers of the iChip and Personal Health Card.

Sines arrives from Corticon Technologies and joins LifeNexus with over 30 years experience in high-tech finance and management.

LifeNexus CEO, David R. Strand stated his confidence “that John will provide the financial and executive leadership needed to take LifeNexus to the next level of growth.”
