AstraZeneca Renews Distribution Deal
The renewal will see Japanese company Yusen distributing over 200,000 pallets of temperature-controlled pallets per year from both AstraZeneca’s manufacturing plants and contract manufacturers’ facilities throughout Europe as well as Australia, US, India and Japan.
The two companies have worked together since 2007, and created a lean supply chain in order to regulate and streamline logistics costs.
Yusen also provides logistics solutions for Bristol-Myers Squibb who renewed its contract in 2011.
