WCG is expanding its Clinical Services Division to include endpoint adjudication and data monitoring services with the acquisition of ACI Clinical.

ACI Clinical’s global network includes more than 500 medical, statistical, and safety experts.

Following the acquisition – terms of which were not disclosed – ACI Clinical will continue to operate as an independent service organization within WCG’s Clinical Services Division.

“Together with WCG, we will work with clinical trial sponsors, academic experts and regulatory agencies to enhance trial integrity, reduce variation in important clinical trial events and ultimately mitigate risk and enhance patient safety in clinical trials,” said Jonathan Seltzer, MD, MBA, MA, FACC, president and CEO of ACI Clinical.

WCG has made several acquisitions over the last year, in areas such as patient recruitment, electronic consent (eConsent), and pharmacovigilance.
