Clinerion gains first Poland-based partner as Szpital Specjalistyczny w Brzozowie joins the global hospital network to bolster data integration.

Szipital Specjalistyczny w Brzozowie, a specialist hospital focused on oncology, hematology, and cardiology, located in Brzozów, Poland has electronic health records (EHRs) for more than 250,000 patients. The Polish hospital’s data has been live on Clinerion’s Patient Network Explorer platform since December, 2018.

This collaboration marks the first site in Poland to join Clinerion’s network. The hospital is also the first site to connect to the Patient Network Explorer using an application programming interface (API) developed by Asseco, the hospital’s information system provider.

This API will be used to simplify the data integration with hospitals from the Patient Network Explorer.

Szpitial Specjalistyczny w Brzozowie will also integrate data to Clinerion through machine learning technologies developed by the global health network company, to collect, mine, and organize laboratory values available from free text.

Clinerion has been working to strengthen its information systems capabilities recently partnering with the Georgian medical software company, Medsoft. The partnership saw EHR system simplification and integration of Georgia-based hospitals into its Patient Network Explorer platform.
