AG Mednet's SaaS solution, Judi, helps sponsors and contract research organizations (CROs) manage clinical events from trigger to final adjudication.

According to Abraham Gutman, President and CEO at AG Mednet, the new tool represents a departure from the way e-Adjudication is performed, as it was developed specifically for adjudication.

It’s not an EDC system used for that process, nor a general forms management system,” he explained. “Judi differs fundamentally from other solutions in that it is a computer implementation of the adjudication language.”

As Gutman further explained, Judi implements the language of adjudication, creating a direct and visible relationship between the trial charter, which describes all the processes, documents, reports and outcomes, and the system’s configuration.

Since everyone processes event types differently, CROs and sponsors do not have to adjust their preferred methodologies to the system,” he said. “Rather, the system can be used to describe their processes and it translates it into the necessary computer code to manage the project.”

Judi provides several benefits, specifically in areas such as data quality and query reduction, according to Gutman. Additionally, a graphical user interface displays information and enables users in various roles to view the clinical trial’s state from their different perspectives.

Sponsors and CROs using Judi also benefit from significant economies of scale in the addition of novel features into the system,” Gutman added.
