Chiltern has opened a new process and technology center in Bangalore, India to further support its analytics, risk-based optimization, biometrics, and pharmacovigilance capabilities.

The company’s first office in India opened more than a decade ago – with five programmers. With the latest expansion, the contract research organization (CRO) can support more than 600 employees throughout its offices in India.

Our continued growth and our work to further enhance our global data capabilities based on the needs of our clients led to this further expansion in India,” Mark Penniston, executive vice president, clinical analytics, and general manager at Chiltern, told us.

Specifically, he cited the increasing global demand, “particularly with the complexity of studies today.”

“[The new center] will further expand our depth and breadth in our data and analysis teams’ capabilities while increasing our existing 24-hour global presence,” Penniston added.
