PRA International says that the adoption of new industry standards is changing how the research sector approaches data and information management and is creating opportunities for the use of innovative technologies.

Outsourcing-pharma.com spoke with PRA’s senior VP of clinical informatics and late phase services Steve Powell at DIA 2011, who explained how the firm’s recent acquisition of Kinship Technologies fits with this idea.

With the increasing prevalence of CDISC Clinical Data Interchange Standards, we felt the need to significantly change the process to create a more efficient delivery model and provide our customers more validation and visibility in our work. When we found Kinship Technologies and implemented the EXACT system, we knew we had discovered a game changer.
