A top 5 CRO has licensed QTinno from NewCardio, which believes the company will be able to capture additional revenue by providing more accurate and efficient cardiac safety studies.

The contract research organisation (CRO) previously outsourced its cardiac safety studies but licensing of the software allows it to perform them in-house, according to NewCardio.

Vincent Renz, CEO of NewCardio, believes that offering this service in-house “provides a powerful competitive advantage further differentiating itself from its competitors”.

QTinno is a software suite that provides automated analysis of QT intervals and other electrocardiogram (ECG)-based cardiac safety data.
