goBalto expands trial site database

goBalto has expanded its drug development and partnering website by more than 16,000 new clinical research sites, hospitals and physicians.

The group, which aims to act as a information resource for the pharmaceutical sponsors and the contract development industry, now lists around 26,000 clinical sites in 175 countries around the world.

goBalto founder Jae Chung set out the company’s ambition, explaining that: “There are tens, if not hundreds of thousands of clinical sites around the world. We wanted to provide a resource, where sponsors could access and organize their sites from one convenient location.”

Jim Worrell of the Pharma Services Network, which is listed on goBalto, said that:. “Identifying highly-qualified sites and physicians in the shortest amount of time is critical to achieving rapid study start-up and high enrolment.”
