The firm – which announced the move late last week – has added technologies to support both its clinical packaging and analytical services business, including HPLC, UPLC, GC, UV, IR, DSC and KF platforms.
Spokeswoman Kerry Lyle told Outsourcing-pharma.com that: “We are fully occupying the space now, much faster than anticipated.
“The need has arisen due to an increased number of analytical services projects won, either in support of our clinical packaging business or our stand-alone analytical services business.”
She added that Almac will also increase the number of scientists employed from 10 to 20 people.
