The laboratory unit, which will work with Almac’s facilities in the UK, houses a variety of chromatography technologies as well as platforms for polymorph and salt screening and solid form development.
Dissolution testing services will be a key focus of activities at the new facility as part of the contract manufacturing organization’s (CMO) clinical trial supply business as will stability testing.
Almac began moving into its new headquarters in September last year and has been shipping clinical trial materials since November.
