News from Chiltern, AMRI and Cook Pharma – People on the move presents its weekly round-up of the latest xcareer movers in the world of pharmaceuticals including news from Chiltern, AMRI and Cook Pharma.

Chiltern has drafted in two new members of its leadership team in Dieter Seitz-Tutter and Alexandra Adams.

Seitz-Tutter, previously the VP of Europe at Medpace, takes on the role of VP of global clinical development.

Former Baxter exec Alexandra Adams takes on the role of director of late phase in Europe.

Albany Molecular Research Institute (AMRI) has drafted in Michael Nolan as its new CFO and treasurer.

He joins the firm from Delaware North Companies, where he was VP of finance.

CEO Thomas D’Ambra said: “We have made solid progress in reducing our cost structure, and increasing our marketing efforts as we roll out our new Smartsourcing initiative.

“Mike’s strategic leadership, financial expertise and strong global experience will further support these initiatives and help us realise our plan for future growth and profitability.”

Cook Pharmica has named Victor Vinci its new VP and CSO.

Previously, he worked for Eli Lilly as head of bioprocess operations and development.

Cook president Tedd Green welcomed Vinci to the firm, and said we should look out for more similar news. “We’re carefully investing in people, equipment and facilities to make sure our customers are getting the service they’ve come to expect from Pharmica,” he said.

Harry Gill has become Patheon’s senior VP of quality and continuous improvement.

He first joined the firm in 2010 as VP of business management.

CEO James Mullen said: “I am impressed with Harry’s vision for embedding a quality mindset, his insights into our operations, and his focus on operational improvements to drive performance and improve the customer experience.”

Healthcare ad firm AbelsonTaylor has hired Hanna Lee as senior art director.

Lee has previously worked on campaigns for food, telecommunications, retail, liquor and financial services.

In her new position she will be managing oncology accounts.
