People on the move: outsourcing jobs

By Natalie Morrison , 26-Nov-2012 presents its weekly round-up of the latest movers and shakers in the world of pharmaceutical outsourcing, including news from Onyx, Pacific Biomarker and Rx&D.

Onyx Scientific has appointed Dan Brisard its new business development director for the East Coast of the US.

The contract manufacturing organisation (CMO) hopes the appointment will help drive its growth in America after receiving an influx of demand from States-based customers.

Denise Bowser, commercial director at Onyx Scientific, said: “At the request of our customers, we have really looked to expand our offering over the last year to minimise the need for clients to use several suppliers on the same project. Dan will play a key role in communicating the breadth of our services in addition to our track record and achievements to the US market.”

Brisard joins the firm from Aptuit, where he was senior account manager.

Healthcare ad agency AbelsonTaylor has promoted Erich Voigt to the role of senior art director and Steph Krout as art director.
