Alan Morgan has been reassigned by Icon to the role of group president, clinical research services, replacing John Hubbard who is leaving the company to take a senior role at a leading global biopharm.

Morgan is currently group president, early phase and laboratory services at Icon. During his 20 years in the pharma and contract research industries Morgan has worked at MDS Pharma Services, Covance, Glaxo Wellcome and IGI Pharmaceuticals.

Icon has also hired Linda Meyerson as chief operating officer of its clinical research unit. Meyerson has previously worked at GlaxoSmithKline, Janssen Research Foundation and RW Johnson Pharmaceutical Research Institute.

Jeffrey Zucker has joined Kendle as global head, patient recruitment. Zucker has more than 15 years of clinical development experience. During his career Zucker has worked at Merck & Co, CRI Worldwide and Applied Research Trials.

American Peptide Company has appointed Stewart Hamilton as sales and marketing director for Europe. Hamilton has previously worked at Senn Chemicals and Bachem. Also, Stewart White has joined the firm as sales account executive for the East Coast of the US.

Kelly Kuchinski has been named as director of product marketing at Acsis, a provider of software to streamline manufacturing and distribution. Kuchinski worked for the past three years at EMD Chemicals and has also held positions at GS1US and Checkpoint Systems.

Contract packager PrePack Holdings has appointed Renard Jackson as CEO and president. Jackson has previously worked at Schott North America, pharmaceutical systems; and Catalent.
