Changes to AMRI’s leadership in India and a new VP at Covance – People on the move
Albany Molecular Research Inc (AMRI) has made three changes to its leadership in India, a move which it believes will support its efforts to increase efficiencies and reduce costs.
Rajesh Shenoy has been promoted to managing director, India operations. Shenoy previously worked as director of AMRI’s site in Hyderabad, India but this role has been expanded to include large scale commercial manufacturing operations in Aurangabad, India.
In his capacity as director of the Hyderabad facility, a post Shenoy held since 2005, he was responsible for helping establish one of AMRI’s first sites outside the US.
Sivakumar Sivasubramanian has also been promoted, taking the role of director, general operations. In this capacity Sivasubramanianwill haveresponsibility for the oversight of all general plant operations and engineering services for AMRI in India.
In addition Sridhar Vaddeboina has been promoted to director of analytical services, India Operations. Vaddeboina will now lead all analytical and quality functions in India.
Covance has appointed Monte Jarvis as its vice president of global data management and biostatistics for periapproval services. Jarvis previously worked at Icon as vice president, biometrics and global head of programming.
John Morris has been appointed to the pharmaceutical and healthcare training team at Information Transfer, which provides distance learning services to the pharma industry.
Morris has previously held positions at Aventis, the Haemophilia Society and the Royal College of Physicians.
Roger Green and Associates has appointed Steve Fleischmann as senior vice president, client strategies. Fleischmann has experience as a marketing research consultant and has spent 10 years of his career at Pfizer.
