The latest hires in pharmaceutical outsourcing in this week's column.
Novella Clinical, a contract research organisation (CRO) bought by Quintiles in September last year, has named Lynne Bui senior medical director of its oncology division.
Bui has a background as a doctor in haematology-oncology, with nine years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, working on drug development for solid tumours and haematologic malignancies. She has led Phase I-IV clinical studies and been a drug development consultant for biologics and pharmaceutical companies in oncology, hematology and internal medicine.
Bui received her medical degree, postgraduate training in internal medicine and postgraduate fellowship in Hematology-Oncology at the University of California, Los Angeles. In 2003 she received the Pfizer Oncology Fellowship Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement in Cancer Research.
