SGS Life Science Services, an analytics service provider, has made two major appointments at its North American Life Science Services GMP/GLP laboratory in Carson, California, which is due to open in late 2014.
Marcella McSorley has been made Quality Assurance Manager. She moves from Aaron Industries, where she was Director of Quality Control, overseeing twenty staff across the analytical chemistry, microbiology and stability divisions.
SGS has appointed Pojaman Zunggeemoge Microbiology Manager. She will manage the Microbiology Department at Carson and ensure the on-going compliance with SOPs (standard operating procedures). Zunggeemoge previously worked at Grifols Biologicals, where she was QC Microbiology Supervisor, responsible for the adherence to cGMP protocols, company specifications and procedures within the Microbiology Department. She has also worked at Baxter Healthcare and Silliker.
