New CEOs, Commercial Directors and more in this week's column.
Biotec Services, a provider of temperature-controlled clinical trial services, has taken on 20-year industry veteran Martin Lamb as its Commercial Director. He will lead business development, project management and marketing. The company plans to grow its existing partnerships with biopharmaceutical companies on the US west coast and in Israel, and to develop relationships with firms in other biotech clusters in the US, Europe and South Korea.
Lamb previously worked at Almac Clinical Services as Global VP of Business Development, with direct responsibility for sales and marketing surrounding the company’s EU and US businesses. In the role, he secured Almac’s biggest ever contract, worth in excess of $100m (€73m).
In February, Biotec promoted its Business Development Director, Fiona Withey, to CEO after the resignation of Keren Winmill.
