The plan is to add an extra 30,000 sq ft of manufacturing space at the plant as well as to enhance existing analytical and microbiological laboratory facilities. The project is scheduled to complete later this summer.
The new capacity is part of Almac’s wider programme of construction and development, the main focus of which is the construction of a 240,000 sq ft facility in Pennsylvania that will act as the firm’s headquarters in the US.
