The move fits with an announcement Aptuit made last month when it said it would reduce its staffing level in response to “the current economic climate, which is affecting the entire pharmaceutical and biotech sector.”
While the firm has not said how many staff will be let go at the packaging facility it did say that it has “made every effort to ensure the least number of employees were affected by this decision,” adding that support packages have been made available.
