Contract manufacturing organisation (CMO) Metrics has completed an $18m expansion of its facility in Greenville, North Carolina, adding at least 50 jobs.
The doubling of capacity includes laboratories, packaging lines, a tablet press and warehouse space, allowing the company to expand into commercial scale manufacturing..
Phil Hodges, Metrics' co-founder and president, said: "It has been a long-time dream to offer a full array of services that allow clients to keep development and commercial manufacturing projects under our roof."
