Services will be provided from two current good manufacturing practice (cGMP) plants, a Millipore facility in Leiden, The Netherlands and a BioOutsource site in Glasgow, UK.

“This alliance offers manufacturers a new alternative for contract testing which will allow them to deploy their resources in other critical areas”, Andrew Bulpin, Millipore’s vice president, services and solutions and upstream processing.

Bulpin said that resources saved by using the strategic alliance can be used in development or manufacturing to shorten time to market.
