The initiative, showcased at this year’s CPhI conference in Madrid, Spain, analyses all aspects of Patheon’s contract manufacturing services and will be offered to all of the firm’s new customers.
The CMO, which claims the scheme is the only one of its type, said that the approach regularly allows it to meet 95 per cent of its delivery targets on time.
CEO Wes Wheeler explained that: “We continually work with our customers to improve our processes and eliminate waste, improve cost efficiencies, deliver product as promised and adhere to strict quality standards.”
He added that the firm is willing to back up its policy explaining that: “We are willing to make financial commitments through our Performance Guarantee initiatives” to ensure customer quality demands are met.
