UK CMO SCM Pharma has completed a supply contract to make lisinopril tablets for a University of Cambridge trial investigating the drug in Rheumatoid arthritis.
Under the three year contract, SCM manufactured, encapsulated and packaged the varying strengths of the drug and placebos at its good manufacturing practice (GMP) standard production facility in Northumberland.
The firm was also responsible for packaging and labelling the tablets for the study, conducting quality analysis and producing patient kits with randomisation envelopes.
