Tracelink updates on Catalent

Related tags Chief information officer

Supply chain services firm Tracelink says that half of Catalent Pharma Solutions’ US manufacturing sites have been added to its network under the strategic partnership signed last summer.

The sites in question, which serve more than 200 life science firms, include facilities in Philadelphia PA, Saint Petersburg FL, Woodstock IL and Winchester KY.

Catalent chief information officer Roy Satchell said that the idea is to provide customers with precise, timely information and “drive greater supply network predictability.”

This was echoed by Tracelink CEO Shabbir Dahod, who said: "In a matter of days, life science companies can begin accessing daily snapshots of inventory information and in a few weeks, can integrate their enterprise systems directly into this real-time production data flow."

Other Tracelink partners include contract manufacturing organisation (CMO) Patheon, which signed up in August, and Sharp, under a contract agreed in November.
