Xcelience claims it can cut active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) into capsule development times by an average of 45 per cent, with some cases saving clients as much as 17 weeks.

The time savings are made by using its Xcelodose 600 and 600 S powder micro-dosing systems, which have just produced their 100th good manufacturing practice (GMP) batch.

Derek Hennecke, CEO and president of Xcelience, said: “Today’s molecule is under pressure. We need to work smarter with clients to make the best choices, often with limited material. One of the best decisions we made was to put our money on Xcelodose.”
