Bioclinica has announced that the safety software company AB Cube has joined its eHealth App xChange – and is touting its platform as “the future of pharmacovigilance.”

Paris-based AB Cube is a pharmacovigilance (PV), medical device vigilance, cosmetovigilance, biovigilance, and veterinary pharmacovigilance software provider.

As part of its collaboration with Bioclinica, AB Cube’s cloud-based PV platform for managing adverse events becomes a part of Bioclinica’s eHealth App xChange offerings available in Bioclinica’s eHealth Cloud.

Anne Zielinski, vice president, Technology Alliances, eHealth Solutions at Bioclinica told us the collaboration with AB Cube brings “an evolved PV technology solution with enhanced capabilities in a streamlined system that’s easy to use and maintain.”

Safety case reporting is critical, Zielinski noted, “and must be achieved in the most timely, accurate and compliant manner,” which she said is the sole focus of the company’s safety and regulatory solutions team.

In our new App xChange partner AB Cube, we view their platform as the future of pharmacovigilance,” she added.

Benefits of the platform include anytime access to PV information via any browser and scalability to handle any number of users or case volumes ─ “all in a PV system upgrade path with uninterrupted compliance and quality, giving organizations the peace of mind they need with their PV program,” she added. “And thanks to these technology advances, biopharma companies are able to rein in costs and timelines around pharmacovigilance system requirements.”
