The partnership, terms of which were not disclosed, will combine Massachusetts-based CRL’s early-phase toxicology testing services with BioAtla’s proprietary range of bio-engineering technologies.
The deal is the second preclinical development focused agreement CRL has set up this week after the animal model distribution accord it agreed with US drugmaker Pfizer.
BioAtla already has similar agreements with 25 other pharmaceutical industry, academic and private groups, the most recent of which being the synthesis and screening deal is signed with Halozyme early last year.
