The Kinomed Partnership has been established to provide kinase services, including production, assay development, in silico screening, fragment library construction and medicinal chemistry. Funding has been provided by Eurostars, a European Union (EU) programme.
Olaf-Georg Issinger, director of KinaseDetect, a member of the partnership, said the goal is to develop a “service platform to provide the pharmaceutical industry with off-the-shelf three-dimensional structures of kinases and their complexes with novel lead compounds”.
KinaseDetect is working with IOTA Pharmaceuticals and SARomics Biostructures to develop the service offering.
