Gene Logic has purchased an Illumina iScan for use with high density Infinium HD assays, which should allow it to expand its genotyping services.
The new system gives clients another option when performing genome wide association studies or when determining chromosomal copy number variation in DNA samples.
Anu Acharya, CEO of Gene Logic, said: “The Illumina system not only provides our clients with more choice but the system is integrated with our other genotyping and expression offerings.”
