Heat-On blocks provide alternative to oil baths.

Brinkmann Instruments has introduced its new heating block range for round- bottomed flasks that eliminates the inherent mess and safety issues associated with oil baths.

The RDT Heat-On features a deep well shape, which maximises the heating area and avoids cracking of flasks - a problem associated with current heating block designs.

The product is designed to operate with all makes of leading stirring hotplate the affordable Heat-On blocks enable safe and clean heating of one or two round bottomed flasks.

 

The RDT Heat-On is part of a range that can be tailored to customers needs. As laboratory requirements change and grow - unnecessary duplication of parts is kept to a minimum.

 

All RDT Heat-On blocks come coated with a special fluoropolymer coating that resists a wide range of chemicals, aids cleaning, improves heating and provides durability for enhanced product life.

 

Other additonal features include a probe hole for use with a separate temperature probe. Optional safety lifting handles allow the user to remove the block while it remains hot.
