The collaboration will build upon Instech’s infusion system Orchesta, which integrates syringe pumps, wireless hardware and control and monitoring software to enable automated preclinical research on up to 300 lab animals.
This will be interfaced with Xybion’s laboratory information system, which will provide Orchesta with the most current data at the start of the infusion, to ensure the accuracy of each delivery.
The companies believe that this will reduce the complexity of large infusion studies.
