Service provider BioClinica will open a Research Triangle Park (RTP) office in North Carolina in response to a rapidly expanding customer base of study sponsors and CROs (contract research organizations) with which it has strategic partnerships.

BioClinica said it serves a dozen customers within the region, including a growing number of CROs that use its technology and support services to provide enhanced offerings to sponsors.

This strengthens our commitment in RTP as well as the greater Southern US," BioClinica CEO John Hubbard said. "The new quarters put us within arm's reach of our customers.”

BioClinica's entire eClinical product line will be available from this location. A large classroom at the office will also provide for hands-on training for product users and strategic partners.

Several home-based employees will work in the new space, initially designed to accommodate 40 employees and with room for expansion, the company said. BioClinica now has more than 1,300 employees working in a network of offices in the US, Europe and Asia.
