place from 26 to 28 November in Stockholm, Sweden.

The Karolinska Institute, together with the Swedish academy of pharmaceutical sciences, is organising BioTech Forum 2003, to take place from 26 to 28 November in Stockholm, Sweden.

The conference will focus on the science upon which the biotechnology sector will develop and progress, and will include dedicated sessions on autoimmune diseases, informatics, metabolic diseases and proteomics.

As well as dealing with issues related to pharmaceuticals and medicine, ethics, and patents, BioTech Forum​ will also provide access to venture capital, business partnerships, science parks, biotechnology clusters and university programmes.

The conference has been running for four years and in 2002 attracted more than 5,000 visitors, with 336 exhibitor companies. The event is held in conjunction with med.xpo​ , Scandinavia's largest event for the medical profession and the health care sector.
