Krauss-Maffei adds to product range

A new partnership has been formed between Krauss-Maffei Process Technology UK and Buss-SMS, an international supplier of thermal separation solutions for difficult to handle mixtures.
Krauss-Maffei will now act as the agent in the UK and Republic of Ireland for Buss-SMS, extending its portfolio of liquid-solid separation technologies. Buss-SMS supplies evaporation, high viscosity and drying process technology that will complement Krauss Maffei's own centrifuge and mixing and drying systems, according to the UK firm.
Krauss-Maffei says it can now offer equipment and expertise in centrifuge technology, single and multiple stage evaporation technology, thin film, cyclonic pneumatic and conical vacuum dryers and thin film and large volume, high viscosity processors.
The company said it covers the range of applications for these technologies, from initial process concept to complete installation and plant commissioning.
