CMO Hermes invests in new facilities

Hermes Pharma of Germany is planning to boost its manufacturing capacity for effervescent tablets by 50 per cent with a €35m investment at its facilities in Wolfratshausen and Wolfsberg.

The contract manufacturer and producer of over-the-counter medications says that it will have “one of the most modern production facilities for effervescent tablets, effervescent granulate and direct granules in Europe.” The firm said the new facilities will help Hermes meet demand for its products and also spearhead an expansion of business in new EU countries.
