Pfizer calls in CBRE to streamline EU operations

- Last updated on GMT

US drug giant Pfizer has called in real estate services firm CB Richard Ellis Group (CBRE) to provide facilities management services at 10 of its European offices.

In common with most Big Pharma firms, Pfizer is currently enacting a wide ranging programme of cost cutting measures designed to adapt to both changes in the drug market and, more recently, the global downturn.

While CBRE did not specify the nature of the “management services” it will provide Pfizer, Mathew Pullen, Head of CBRE global corporate services Europe, suggested that improving efficiency would the focus.

Pullen said that: "We continue to see strong demand from the world's largest occupiers to leverage our outsourcing platform in order to drive down costs and streamline operating processes."
