Korsch and ACG set up tabletting machine JV

The partnership, which became operational earlier this month, combines Korsch’s tablet press expertise with India based ACG’s workforce and network of machine manufacturing facilities, including its good manufacturing practice (GMP) standard production plant in Mumbai.

Korsch spokesperson Nerea Arcaraz told in-PharmaTechnologist that: “Tabletting machines remain the most vitally needed equipment in the pharma industry on all markets,” ​adding that “the JV will expand the global footprint of both partners.”​

Arcaraz explained that: “​The industry is looking for reliable alternatives on the machinery front​ for equal product quality requirements on all markets​, customized to regional specific demands and cost drivers.​

“The new JV will answer this need providing German technology at competitive prices through manufacturing excellence​.”
