Clearstone appoints CEO

Clearstone Central Laboratories has appointed Lewis Cameron as CEO and he will now lead the company as it plots its development following divestiture from MDS Pharma Services.

Cameron is currently executive vice president, global business development and country management at Chiltern, which is also owned by the company that acquired Clearstone from MDS.

He has more than 20 years experience of medical laboratory, basic research and clinical operations, beginning his career in laboratories and then spending the past 10 years in management positions.

Cameron will begin at Clearstone on January 18 2010 and will be based at a facility in Baillet-en-France, near Paris, France.
