KIS launches SaaS TrackHealth for handling EHR
KISTrack is a software as a service (SaaS) technology created for computing workflow, document and data management, compliance and risk mitigation. TrackHealth tailors this offering to the specific needs of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.

He added that the software was built to help at “the cross-roads where individuals interact with sensitive patient data”. This clearly requires data to be secured securely and Binko believes KIS’ background helps it achieve this goal.
“Our heritage of handling critical financial data in the heavily-regulated securities, insurance, banking and deal-flow communities is the foundation upon which TrackHealth was forged”, he explained.
This experience could be important in reassuring pharma companies that their data will be secure on KIS’ servers. KIS can also point to the benefits of using SaaS, as opposed to software running on in-house servers, to persuade potential clients.
Using SaaS companies effectively outsource some of their IT infrastructure to KIS, helping to reduce initial capital expenditure and maintenance costs. Furthermore, SaaS makes it easier to allow third-parties to have access to some or all of the information.
TrackHealth allows companies to set what data each user can access and what they are allowed to do with it. Pharma’s increased use of third-parties in all areas of operations makes this flexibility important.
