Cloe Knowledge from Cyprotex allows researchers access to database

ADME/toxicity testing firm Cyprotexservice providers is bringing researchers free online access to its database of ADME and pharmacokinetic properties of marketed drugs, through Cloe Knowledge.

The online Cloe Knowledge data visualisation and interpretation tool categorises marketed drugs, sourced from the 2009 WHO ATC/DDD drug index, making the database searchable by therapeutic area.

The system allows researchers to observe the relationships between various absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion (ADME) and physiochemical properties on 2D or 3D scatter graphs.

“Our Cloe Knowledge of marketed drugs has been compiled and continuously updated based on extensive literature values and data generated in our own laboratories,” said Anthony Baxter, CEO of Cyprotex.

“We believe that free access to these data via Cloe Knowledge will help advance drug discovery, especially within the resource-constrained academic community.”

Cyprotex failed to respond to OutsourcingPharma’s request for further information.
