Accucaps adds high potency soft gel capabilities
Accucaps has added a Speciality Products Centre to support clients' high potency liquid filled soft gel formulation needs.
Canada-based Accucaps provides contract research, development and manufacturing services with a focus on soft gel formulations. Adding high potency capabilities allows Accucaps to support clients who use soft gel because it is the only viable oral dose formulation of their high potency compounds.
“This expanded capability will allow Accucaps to address the needs of our customers in the formulation and commercialisation of specialised compounds which will ultimately improve patient outcomes”, said Bruno Biscaro, president of Accucaps.
Currently Accucaps operates two manufacturing facilities outputting 9bn capsules a year.
