Appointments at INC, Perceptive, Althea, Novella and BioClinica – People on the move

Outsourcing-Pharma presents its latest round up of movements in the pharma outsourcing sector, including appointments at INC, Perceptive, Althea, Novella and BioClinica.

INC Research ​has named Manfred Weiler​ as vice president (VP) of alliance development based in Europe. Weiler has previously worked at SGS and Qiagen and will now take responsibility for developing European clinical delivery alliances.

Vladimir Evilevitch ​has joined the medical imaging group of Perceptive Informatics​ as associate medical director and head of cardiology and nuclear medicine. Before joining the Parexel subsidiary Evilevitch worked at Novartis Healthcare.

Althea Technologies​ has appointed Rick Hancock​ as president. Hancock worked as chief operating officer at Althea from 1998 to 2007 and has also held positions at Hybritech, The Immune Response Corporation and Genetics Institute.

Ron Kershner ​has been hired by Novella Clinical​ as global head of clinical reporting. Kershner has worked in the contract research sector at Inveresk Research, Fujisawa, Centocor and Quintiles for the past 13 years.

BioClinica​ has added Wallace Parker Jr​ to its board of directors and audit and compensation committees. Parker worked at KeySpan Energy from 1971 to 2007, serving as CEO of the services unit for the final six years.

Steven Collis​ has been promoted to president and chief operating officer of AmerisourceBergen​. Collis was previously EVP of AmerisourceBergen and has worked at the company for 16 years.

Laureate Pharma ​has appointed Robert Burford​ as VP, regulatory affairs. In this role Burford will establish and expand the newly formed regulatory affairs services group. Burford has served as president of the American Clinical Research Consultants for the past 16 years.

Henk Heus​ has joined GenomeQuest​ to take the newly created position of scientific lead of GQ-PMR. Heus has 15 years of genomics experience, including time at NV Organon.
