Symbios renamed MMD after post-acquisition integration
Symbios Clinical has been renamed Medpace Medical Device (MMD) after completing its integration with Medpace.
Earlier this year Medpace acquired Symbios, a contract research organisation (CRO) dedicated to medical devices. Having completed integration activities Medpace has renamed Symbios as MMD.
“Through this integration we believe we offer our customers something completely different and unique -- true medical device expertise with a comprehensive and global service offering through one provider", said Ryan Wilson, general manager of MMD.
Medpace acquired Symbios in March and since then has worked to integrate functions and, in doing so, “greatly expand MMD’s service offering”.
