Avantor moving HQ to PA but manufacturing stays in NJ
Avantor Performance Materials is to relocate its headquarters to Pennsylvania but manufacturing will stay at the existing New Jersey site.
Moving the headquarters from New Jersey to Pennsylvania is intended to support growth. The new headquarters is nearly double the size of the current office and this will support the hiring of 60 additional employees over the next three years.
Avantor will also relocate 140 existing employees to the new headquarters. Manufacturing and research and development facilities will remain at the Phillipsburg, New Jersey site and employ 325 people.
The relocation comes six months after Avantor, formerly Mallinckrodt Baker, was acquired by New Mountain Capital.
