Frontage animal site achieves AAALAC accreditation
Frontage Laboratories has achieved AAALAC accreditation at its Pennsylvania, US animal research facility.
Accreditation by the Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care (AAALAC) follows an internal review by Frontage. Completion of the accreditation process shows a site maintains certain standards of animal care.
In the fourth quarter of calendar 2011 AAALAC will begin to use three primary standards to evaluate animal care. All the documents have been used by the Council on Accreditation for several years and have now been formally adopted by the Board of Trustees.
