BioOutsource gets MHRA GLP certification
UK-based contract testing service BioOutsource has received GLP certification from the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).
The laboratory, in Glasgow, Scotland, provides analytical chemistry, biosafety testing and immunology analysis services to customers in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical space.
The contract research organisation’s (CRO) said that certification builds on the facilities existing good manufacturing practice (GMP) certificate and with good clinical practice (GCP) capabilities.
Gillian Hill, Head of Operations commented “Having GMP, GCP and GLP certification allows BioOutsource to deliver a broad range of quality contract testing services to our clients and builds on our continuing commitment to deliver service.”
Some of the testing work conducted at the Glasgow lab is generated by BioOutsource’s partnership with EMD Millipore.
