Top 10 CMOs visualised by revenue and employment
Outsourcing-Pharma looks at the revenue and employment levels of the top 10 contract manufacturing organisations (CMO).
In a document titled World Investment Report 2011 the United Nations listed the 2009 revenue and employment of the top 10 CMOs. To give an overview of the leaders in the fragmented CMO sector Outsourcing-Pharma has created a graph using data collected in the report.
Combined these firms had contract manufacturing revenues in excess of $8bn (€5bn) and production facilities across the globe. Of the 10, five are headquartered in Europe, two in North America, two in India and one in Japan.
