The Outsourcing-pharma.com team is heading to Boston, Massachusetts for Patient Recruitment Outsourcing – our exciting new US conference and networking event.

The aim of the two-day show is to examine how third-party service providers can help Pharmaceutical sponsors and contract research organisations (CRO) reach, find and retain study participants in the most effective and efficient way possible.

The event, at the Park Plaza Hotel in Boston next Monday and Tuesday (September 26 & 27), will bring together industry professionals, drug developers and market gurus together to discuss recruitment, which is still one of the most challenging aspects of clinical research.

How big is the challenge? What are the key issues? Which approaches are the most effective at accelerating recruitment? – We hope that PRO will help you answer all these questions and more. How do drug firm’s like Genentech, Shire, Novartis, H Lundbeck, Roche, Johnson & Johnson and Sanofi Aventis find patients?

We’ll hear expert insight from all these firms and more.

Kenneth Getz from the Tufts Center for the Study of Drug Development will also share his views on the future of outsourcing in patient recruitment – examining what impact strategic partnerships and globalization has had on the issue.
