DaVita Clinical Research will help sponsors prepare for US FDA advisory committee meetings through a new contract offering introduced this week.

The idea is to lead pharmaceutical firms through the process of creating, preparing and rehearsing presentations to agency committees, which are critical steps in its drug approval process.

Mahesh Krishnan, DCR’s VP of clinical research, said: "Professional communicators move pharmaceutical teams toward their goal in a way no other function can -- a lesson I learned from my own experience preparing for an advisory committee meeting."

The new offering brings to an end a busy month for Davita, which began with the launch of a contract biorepository service and followed with the expansion of the firm’s drug discovery laboratory in Minneapolis.
